Best Valentines Destination in the South West

Valentines Day is fast approaching so you better start planning what you will be doing on the big night so as not to avoid disappointing your loved one. The South West has a number of great destinations that might just be perfect for you and your loved one to take a romantic break.
Bath: The beautiful city of Bath, full of beautiful architecture, makes an ideal romantic getaway. For the Valentines night there are plenty of great restaurants around the city with many different types of restaurant to your bound to find the ideal one for you and your partner. During the day why not treat your loved one to a treatment at the spa which uses the only natural thermal spring in Britain.
Bristol: The largest city in the South West and home to best night life too. Just like Bath the city has many great restaurants for a romantic meal but if you are looking for something else to do after then Bristol might have the answer for you. Bristol has many great clubs, theatres, bars and cinemas so you are bound to find just the thing for your special night.
Exeter: As you might expect from a city in Devon, Exeter has a rural feel to it but is still a vibrant city that is well worth a trip. The city is surrounded by some beautiful country side with plenty of pretty cottages to enjoy a cosy and romantic break in. Exeter itself has many great restaurants and bars for that romantic night out. Barley a night goes by when there isn’t a music night going on at one of the many venues around the city. The music ranges from local singers and bands to acts from across the world and who knows you might just stumble across the next big thing as the likes of Cold Play, Muse and Joss Stone all played some of there first ever gigs here.
Bournemouth: Bournemouth is making sure your Valentines is a special one this year with a number of special events across the city. A number of hotels, restaurants, bars and theatres are putting on special romantic events. And what could be better than at the end of a romantic night to take a moonlight walk along Bournemouth’s golden sandy beach.
