Why We Love Caravans
Everyone knows that caravan holidays are affordable and that they are good for families, but there are more advantages to caravanning than that.

The ability to go literally anywhere and take your home with you is the main advantage of a caravan. You can take all your home comforts with you and can be ready to leave home within an hour. Being able to travel anywhere means that you can accommodate all of the family's needs. One week you can travel to a sporting event for your son, another week you can go stay near a music festival for your daughter. While the kids are attending the events that they are interested in you and your spouse can enjoy a nice restaurant in a new town.
Owning a caravan gives you the option to join a club. If you do so, you can camp very cheaply and will make many new friends. When you have young children, joining a club can be especially good. They will have many playmates, and because all of the club members know each other, they can play safely outside whilst caravanning with the club.
Caravans offer real value for money meaning that you and the family can afford to do more things together. If you were to stay in a hotel with 2 kids, the cost would be prohibitive. A night on most sites costs less for a family than the cost of one night in a hotel for one person.
When you take caravan holidays, you end up experiencing and appreciating nature. Regardless of the site you stay on you will find beauty and wildlife literally on your doorstep. Even on a city site this is true, it is almost as if you are staying in a park. If you want peace and quiet, then caravanning is for you. Many sites now have adult only pitches, so you can stay somewhere without the noise of children or traffic disturbing you.
