Don't Trip About Your Road Trip - Solid Advice From a Road Warrior
Some of my admired travel experiences have been route trips. There is no feels like getting into a car, rolling down the windows, putting your shades on followed by The Eagles, and hitting the open road. While some of the best route trips can be done without any project, I would advise having a few things covered before you plainly begin driving.

First and best, have several astonishing and unknown euphony. If you've ever driven for a important point of time, you are best aware that euphony can get or break the experience. There is nothing worse that driving for five right hours, flipping through the god hard radio selection, because you forgot your CD or i Phone. My suggestion is to look your local library and load up on several free oldies, newbies, and randoms. Either load the CD on your computer and then transfer it to your i Phone or just bring the CD with you. Most libraries give you three weeks to find out music. It's a great style to discover different artists and remember your lost favorites.
Second, get your car checked out before you hit the route. Normally a simple oil exchange will suffice. Believe me, you don't wish to be stranded in the middle of Nevada because you thought you could go an extra 2,000 miles without getting that oil exchange. Besides, make sure they put air in your wears. Under inflated tires can reduce your gas mileage by 3% which can be rather costly when driving long distances. Fill up all fluids and the tank. It might be a good thought to make an additional carton of oil for your car just in case.
Thirdly, pack a colder and some snacks. Having a cold drink on a sleepy hot route is the best slap in the side. Throw a a few caffeinated drinks in there just in case (e.g. coke, red bull, iced coffee). These are living savers for late nighttime driving. Don't leave the water too. Nuts, jerky, and fruit are a somewhat healthier choice to fast food. They are pretty durable and available to eat while driving. Attempt to avoid messy and greasy foods. You don't require a slippery wheel. Gross.
Last but not least, have a rough plan on where you'll be and when. If you're meeting friends along the way, they will appreciate knowing a common program in advance instead of having you pop up on their door step at 2am in the morning needing a site to crash. Don't restrict yourself with hotel qualifications and try to experience as numerous new things as viable (i.e. don't rest in a Best Western when you can check out a B&B). After all, a road trip is all about the freedom of exploration and challenging other things.
Drive safely and enjoy the scenery!
