The Royal Wedding is fast approaching; it is to be held on the May Bank Holiday Weekend and for many, this will be the perfect time to make a break for the countryside for a spa weekend, to relax in the comfort of a hotel or spa. The weekend of the Royal Wedding is the perfect opportunity to treat oneself like a prince or princess, with a spot of pampering, a nice meal and some fresh countryside air.

For a lot of people, the Bank Holiday Weekend can sometimes feel more like hard work that a relaxing break. The cities and towns tend to be packed to the brim with people attempting to have a fun weekend. But in such busy, stressful environments, having fun can seem like a chore.

By the time you're finished your weekend break, you may feel even more exhausted than before! This year is set to be even more hectic in London, as thousands of people make their way to the special occasion.

You could feel more tired and stressed the following week, as if you hadn't had a break at all. And of course, for the upcoming weekend, the city of London will have throngs of people hoping to catch a glimpse of the Royal Wedding.

For some serious relaxation and pampering, a spa weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city might be a good option. You can enjoy the time away from the crowds and still partake in the Royal Celebrations.

Most spa amenities such as a gym, a swimming pool and a sauna are part of the standard price package, meaning that you don't have to break the bank to relax. There are usually other spa therapies such as facials and massages, which can be a nice way to unwind if you feel like splashing out. You don't have to worry about cooking meals either, as there is usually a restaurant or buffet available.

Spa weekend breaks are a great idea for those who dislike the crowds but still want to do something special for the weekend of the Royal Wedding during the May Bank Holiday weekend.
