Hispania was the name given by the Romans during their reign in the region. The Germans ruled the Spain during the middle Ages and was later on taken over by the Muslims. There were a lot of changes and struggles that happened afterward for the Christians to be able to regain their strong hold of the country. It was in 1978 when the democracy was finally given back to its people.

Spain has a lot to offer for you. The Museo del Prado or The Prado Museum displays extensive collections of Renaissance arts from different parts of the world, particularly from Germany, Italy and Spain. This museum is among the three most vital museums for Renaissance Arts in the world after the famous Louvre of Paris and Uffizi of Florence. This place houses over eight thousand six hundred arts for many years now. The original plan when it was built in 1785 is to use it as museum for the Natural Sciences. Later on Napoleon also used the place for barracks for his soldiers.

Malaga, a port city never seizes to amaze anyone who has come to its magnificent beach. The cool breeze combined with great sand and clear, clean water is enough to make every tourist come back for more. Accommodations will not be a problem but it is advisable if you book ahead of time before going there. The abundance of restaurants offering special seafood and other meals are the true testament that people love to stay in Malaga and enjoy everything this port city has to offer.

Finding things for you to take home as a souvenir or to give to your friends will never be a problem when you are in Spain. The buzzing area of Calle de Ribera de Curtidores becomes the El Raso market every Sunday. You can find almost anything from post cards to shoes and food even chickens in this open market. If bargaining is your skill you will definitely be put into the test. High end fashion accessories and designer bags and clothes can also be found in other shopping districts in Spain like in Barcelona.
