Unforgettable Holidays At A Golf Del Sur Hotel
Golf is one of the most popular recreational sports world-wide. In the past decade the amount of golf courses that have been built to accommodate this fascinating game which mixes exercise with leisure, nature and business has been incredible. Situated in Spain on the Canary island, Golf del Sur Hotel, is just such a world-class destination for golfing fans.
This hotel is surrounded by a veritable green golfing oasis, which boasts in total 27 holes; one 18 hole course and another 9 hole, and both professional courses. Golfing holidays have taken on a whole new meaning with the resort complexes which are now built to complement the courses.
These are the days when entire families go on golfing holidays together and if mum doesn't play, she spends time relaxing in the spa, while the kids swim and are treated to special entertainment programs. The whole family is catered for, and the day of the "golf widow" is long gone.

Birds are only the first part of the study and they aim to go on to re-introduce other indigenous fauna and flora. The aim being to become part of a far more wide-spread bio-diversity project! It is also hoped that all golf courses in the Canary Island will follow suit to raise awareness of these eco practices. Golf del Sur even hosts regular "Welcome to Family Pets" weekends.
