Looking At Round The Globe With Airplane Flights
There have been many changes in the airlines over the years. As with other things, prices have raised, many of the extras are gone however, on the other hand, many have improved their routes as well as the time involved in getting to one's destination. The installation of security checkpoints was brought into play and is now in place at all airport terminals to be gone through previous to flights.

The history of the airline industry is very interesting. The very first airline came from Germany in 1909. It involved the use of a dirigible. After several attempts, the first American scheduled commercial flight was in 1914. This original airline company is still in operation today.
With World War II people became interested in creating commercial airlines. Several new ideas were introduced such as pressurization, increased speed and other additions. The jumbo jet with its supersonic travel came on the scene in the 1970s. International travel still uses this type of transportation today.
The airbus has been very successful in Europe, providing service between many of the cities. It is provides the same service as a regular bus but in the air, not on the ground. They are not as fast as regular aircraft but are considered a very good form of transportation.
The deregulation of the airline industry in 1978 opened the door for many new airline companies. A large number were formed but, unfortunately, many found they could not continue due to pricing competition from the larger companies and other things. However, for the remaining companies' passenger travel has increased tremendously.
Originally, flights on a commercial plane, even in economy class, saw a great deal of service. A small meal was served and many other niceties were given. That has completely changed today. They are selling meals on the planes and, even though one might be on a flight for several hours all that is given is a soda or coffee and pretzels or crackers. As a result many people bring their own food.
As the years have passed, the airlines have had many excuses for their dropping of service and their increase in prices. Over time, the reason given was the cost of fuel, pilots strike, cost of maintenance and many other excuses. It is true that prices have risen and one would expect a reasonable raise in rates but serving a passenger a soda or coffee and pretzels or crackers on long flights does not present their case very well.
