Which Airlines Are Flying To What Place And What To Expect?

The United Kingdom has a great many very busy airports that are receiving inbound and outbound UK flights around the clock. The busiest UK airports regarding passenger numbers are: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and Manchester. Thousands of flights land and take off from the airstrips here every week.

There is huge competition between airlines operating UK flights and as such there are always super deals on flight prices. Due to the competition and cost cutting, some airlines operate budget flights that do not include some services. Transport out to all of the major airports is regular, reliable and efficient.

Heathrow is without doubt the UK's busiest airport and most of the international and UK flights coming in and out from beyond Europe land here. Virtually every well known airline lands in Heathrow. Among these are: British Airways, KLM, Qantas, Thai Airways, Royal Brunei, Eva Air, Delta Airlines, Air New Zealand, Malaysia Airlines and several others.

Most of the world's major cities have a connection to Heathrow and just a few of these include: Sydney, Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, Beijing, Cairo, Dehli. Airport taxes out of Heathrow are included in the price of your tickets, so you do not have to worry about departure taxes.

Gatwick airport is the place that many of the continental flights arrive at and leave from. Some of the airlines that operate out of this airport include: Ryan Air, Easyjet, Viking Airlines, Thomas Cook, Thomson Airways, Air Transat, Aer Lingus and many others. You can fly to such destinations as Aberdeen, Alicante, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Corfu, Ibiza, Milan and Prague among others. You can get to Gatwick airport by road, but the train is also a great option with 12 services each hour departing London Victoria Station.

Other busy London airports are Luton and Stansted. These also have a huge range of flights arriving and departing. In fact, there are around 160 destinations in 30 countries that have flights into Stansted and Luton. From Central London train services take about 20 minutes to arrive at the airports and there are services every 10 minutes. The busiest northern airport in England is Manchester airport, which has services to most major world destinations.

There is so much competition in UK flights that there are a range of ticket prices and services available. Some of the cut price tickets do not cover luggage that goes in the hold, or they do not offer refreshments on board. You should ensure that you know what your ticket covers before purchasing.
