Tourism - Economic links between Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly

Not everyone stops to think about how closely linked Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly really are, but there are many economic and tourism links that are important. The area is maritime and rural, and while it's a big area, the population density is really low. Businesses there are growing, and because the areas are linked so closely a company that has a business in one area often has the same type of business in another area. That's important because the tourism industry is very large in the Isles of Scilly and in Cornwall, but for different reasons. Quarrying and mining have been part of the long history of the area, but technology, medical, and maritime business sectors are increasing as well. That means that more people are living there and that there are more places for people to shop and explore simply because the number of people has grown and they need things to do. That makes it great for those on holiday in Cornwall as well, because they have more options than ever before. Between the shopping and the landscapes there is always something to do in both Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, so if you're taking a holiday or looking for work or a new business, you have some opportunities there.
