Today, there are less and less paper products available. Everything is done online. Everything is digital in the effort to save a tree, which is great until you visit a new area and there are no more travel brochures. I've been stuck in a few places not knowing where to go, what to see, or what to do before. Now, I know to research on the internet beforehand so that I am better prepared when I get to my destination. Recently, I visited South Somerset. It was incredible. It was a beautiful area of England that I instantly fell in love with and you will too. Just make sure you following this guide. It will help you to know everything you should see and do when visiting the area.

• Do not miss out on the architecture. South Somerset has world-class museums and amazing houses. Spend a day and look at them. Some of the villages are very quaint and picturesque.
• There are wonderful gardens and nurseries in the area. Explore them. You will love the romantic vibe of Cothay Manor. And, Forde Abbey is huge. At East Lambrook Manor, you can visit English cottages. To see farmhouses, go to Lower Severalls.
• Somerset is a great place for pets. Bring your dog and walk around the town with your best friend. Somerset holds Dog Days Out. They also have Doggie Pubs! It is definitely a fun place for you and your dog.
• The region is host to many local crafters and artists. Many people love the pottery that originates from the area. There are also beautiful textiles and ceramics.
• Start exploring. South Somerset has over 370 square miles of countryside. There are hills, valley, and moors. Everything you see will be beautiful
• The area is a fun place to relax, craft, exercise, and enjoy being on vacation. They hold yoga retreats. Additionally, they have many spas. If you feel like being artistic, sign up for courses at one of the local art studios. They have courses on all different subjects, whether you are a beginner or extremely advanced.
• Visit the attractions. South Somerset is most famous for StoneHenge. However, you can also visit the Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Caves and Gorge, or Longleat.
• Shop. The stores are fun and quaint.
• Most of all - bring your entire family. All of the activities are fun to do together. Somerset is a family town.
