Autumn Fair in Ibiza
Ibiza enjoys an incredible summer season with thousands of tourists and holiday makers flocking there to stay in the luxury hotels in Ibiza. The autumn season however is for some people a much more desirable time of year to visit the island. The weather is still glorious and there are always many hours of sunshine each day but the crowds are gone. The fair is called 'Feria de Artesanía Sa Tardor,' and it takes place in the main square of Ibiza, the Paseo de Vara de Rey. The fair is by no means a one day event. This year it begins on 1st October and lasts until Wednesday 12th October. Opening hours are 11am to 2pm and then again from 5.30pm until 10pm. It is organised by the Artinsans' Association and as such is an event to display a multitude of artisan talents. Both modern and traditional arts and crafts can be found at the fair. Whether it is leather you like, wood carvings or even ceramics or glass, everything can be found displayed at the fair in Ibiza this year.

Not only can you purchase local arts and crafts at the fair but you can also view some exciting demonstrations. There is even the opportunity to have a go at one or two traditional techniques.
