There are several reasons why tourists choose this area of the Amalfi coast which is a coastal strip in Sorrento Peninsula in southern Italy. The area stretches from Vietri Sul Mare to the well-known Positano: Here are the top five reasons why you should the one this year to visit this beautiful place:

The most predictable season of the year is summer. You will never complain about rains ruining your holiday. The climate is very enjoyable throughout the year on the Amalfi coast as the winters are milder and summers are dry.

Positano , the city that marks the end to the Amalfi coast and is a favorite destination for romantic couples and romatic getaways. The best time to come to Positano and Amalfi coast is in the fall and spring, when there are not so many tourists who are flooding in the area during summer time. The Amalfi area is a world heritage site and has a breathtaking view over the sea with its mountains meeting the sea. Amalfi is a popular destination for honeymooners and romantic holidays.

Hiking - A six-hour hike can be found not far from Amalfi which is called the path to the gods, or Il Sentiero degli Dei. This trail is located in near Colle Serra, and offers some of the most dramatic views of the sea and even glimpses at the famous Island of Capri. Apart from Il Sentiero degli Dei there are a number of other hiking trails around the Amalfi coast.

Italy has a unique cuisine but the area has its fair share of own style of Italian dishes and some of the most famous dishes here are made of, of course, seafood: the l'orata al forno, la carne alla pizzaiola is L'Insalata di Mare and La Zuppa di Pesce are all unique of its kind.
