Travel To Italy: Rome and Venice

If you are planning to go on a holiday in Italy, good places to start are Rome and Venice. It's not difficult to fall head over heels in love with the destinations once you can know the place and the folks.
Rome
Perhaps you have heard of it? It is going without saying that Rome has a distinguished past. Lets see, in Rome you will find the Vatican, Coliseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Church of Saint Agnese, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and a bloke name Allassandro. Just making sure you are listening. It appears you won't turn around without bumping into something an Emperor built, caught or wiped out. No article could ever do it justice, so I should just stop here.
Venice
I refer to Venice as the floating town though it is seemingly sinking. Venice is relatively small compared with the other major cities. St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace are usually crowded by mid day. When in Venice, you can choose to explore the city in a tour boat. The Grande Canal is, well, a grand canal with awesome houses lining it and boats putting up down this water way. Built on mudflats in a lagoon, the town does not truly have much room to grow. It just seems paralyzed in time. Once you have conquered the visitor attractions, it'll be time to get serious about Venice. The simplest way to do that is stand out front of your hotel or hotel, establish which direction the holiday maker attractions lie and start walking in the opposite direction. An wholly different side of Venice will appear and you'll adore it. You'll be able to find small cafeterias with neighbors pleased to talk to you.
