The Pitlochry Festival Theatre group carries on events from May through October and welcome over 20,000 visitors to their theatre arts programs. Musical events and exhibits are held daily throughout the season and this will be a great time to enjoy the wonderful performances of the National Scottish Ballet.
Taking the Ferry or motoring to Glen Tilt and taking a short walk will bring to you the stunning vision of the Blair Castle which has housed members of the Atholl family for over 750 years. The castle was the first in Scotland to be open to visitors and provides a visitor with all of the majesty and history of Scotland in a single location. Be sure to spend time exploring the attic and hidden rooms, which you need to request to see when you visit.
After spending time in the castle, wander the nine acres of the Hercules gardens. This garden is completely enclosed and provides statues, ponds, glorious gardens and award winning landscape.
