Considering Moving to Spain?
Deciding whether to move to Spain or not is something that you really need to spend time thinking about. It's not the sort of thing that you can jump straight into without thinking about. Before you decide whether to move it is important that you spend plenty of time looking into the areas that you are considering moving to. Some of the popular areas include the Costa del Sol, Barcelona and the Costa Blanca.You need to spend plenty of time researching so that you can find out everything that you need to know.

Also realize that you're not going to instantly get enough money to survive, you need to have enough money to survive on for at least a little while. This money will make sure that you have enough time to get yourself a job and get yourself settled. Work out how much money you will need to survive for a few months, the more money you save the safer you will be. It will also make your move to Spain so much easier.
What do you need to move to Spain?
Depending on where you travel from you will need to complete different paperwork. All of the requirements are completely different depending on your nationality. You will find it's much easier for people traveling from within the European Union, however if traveling from outside of the EU you might have more of a problem. Make sure you fill out this paperwork as early as you possibly can so that you can find out all of the requirements.
It's also important that you fill out health insurance carefully. You might find that an employer in Spain will provide this for you. If you don't already have it then make sure you take out a suitable policy. Be careful though as most travel insurance policies are suitable only for short lengths of time. If you fall ill while you are away then your insurance will ensure that you have enough money to do this.
If you plan on driving while over there find out what you need to drive there. Also make sure that you take out car insurance and find somewhere where you can get a car.
You might want to bring your current car, or you might want to sell it and get one when you get there. It's possible to lease cars, or buy new ones depending on your preferences and budget. Until you find your car you might want to rent a car, it can be quite expensive and so isn't really a good idea for long term use.
Finding a Job
Unless you are keeping your current job and being relocated you will need to think about finding a job. Look as early as you can to find a job, the internet can make job searches really easy, search through the various listings on the internet and send out lots of copies of your resume.
If you're moving with your company then you might be able to get help on the costs for the move, others might offer services to help you move house.
Finding somewhere to live is also very important, you can either rent or buy. It's completely up to you!
