Enjoyable Vacation at South Carolina
South Carolina attractions provide visitors with things to do and places they can visit. There are so many places and numerous activities that this state can offer to visitors.Many of these activities can provide excellent history lessons to both the young and the old.

In the town of Charleston can be found the Old Slave Mart Museum. Here visitors get a chance to relive the history of Charleston as an urban slave-trading hub during the time of domestic slave trade. The different events are presented using various media in order for visitors to have a feel of Charleston during that time.
For unique but entertaining pleasure, the Aquarium Sea Turtle hospital in South Carolina is the right place to be. The visitors do not only enjoy the sea turtles but are also educated about how the facilities? professional teams treat the sick and injured sea turtles. Benjamin Mays Historic Site is also worth a stop.
In the National Register of Historic Places, South Carolina has the First Baptists Church which is located in Columbia. In 1860, the Secession Convention took place and paved the way for Civil War. The original church that was built in 1811 can be found in Sumter and Hampton Streets and was renovated in 1859 but it still maintained its platform furnishings, slave balcony and brick-pillared portico.
In Fort Hill Clemson, the plantation, home, kitchen and office of John Calhoun can be found. Notably, John Calhoun is the famous statesman of South Carolina in 1825-1850. The house of John Calhoun was made open for the public through his son-in-law, Thomas Green Clemson, who also founded the John Calhoun University.
Coker Experimental Farms located in Hartsville, South Carolina was the site of a 1903 program that focused on breeding cottons that can be cultivated throughout the South. This facility is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as a National Historic Landmark. It is one of only 14 facilities representing the country's agricultural sector.
For ideal place of shopping, Palmetto Shopping in South Carolina offers products from trendy fashion accessories to unique handcrafted objects. The place is proud of its specialty shops and roadside stands. Some of the unique items that can be bought in South Carolina are the handwoven Gullah sweetgrass baskets which is the oldest form of African art practiced in United States.
Certainly, there are also beaches that can awe visitors during their trip. Activities are provided to give overwhelming enjoyment. Interestingly, places to visit can be accessed by car or by boat.
