Finding A Hotel Near Marin Trails

Greetings, fellow hikers! For those of you who have recently enjoyed a hike under the lush canopy of the Marin Trails, this article may be preaching to the converted. If you've enjoyed the hike, you know how cool, moist, and nourishing the climate can be. You understand the best ways in and out of the trail and you know where to camp. Or, if hiking is a priority over and above camping, you know how to find a hotel near the Marin Trails. The bottom line is you know. But, what about the others? What about the uninitiated?

Anyone interested in a hike that takes the rocky shores of Northern California into account can't pass up a chance to hike along Arch Rock, down through the Bear Valley Trail. You'll drink in the misty coast, the sea of Douglas firs, and some of the most beautiful country in the nation. If you fancy a frolic among the boulders, be advised: don't! Stay on the trail and use your common sense.

Care to see some sights? If you want to take in some truly spectacular sights, you can't miss with the Big Sur coastline just south of the Trail. While many of the trails are recovering from the recent wildfires, you can be sure of finding one that leads you to some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the state. Remember: no smoking and no campfires, unless you've got the OK from the Forestry Service.

As you make your way down Highway 1, the Pacific Ocean to your right, you may want to stop and take in a few of the especially lovely attractions, like McWay Waterfall. Winding down the Marin Trail, you'll find yourself confronted with an eight-story waterfall that is truly a sight to behold. Keep on the path, keeping the waterfall at arm's length, and if you were planning a picnic, this is the perfect spot!

What cold be better than great scenery, some snacks, and a place to sleep? Pressing on from McWay Waterfall, you'll find the Ewoldsen Trail. This lovely trail will take you from the coastline into the interior. From the seascapes you'll make the transition to the landscapes of the mighty redwood forests. Be sure you've made up your mind about camping as you may be tempted to pitch a tent and relax in this spectacular area.
