Good Countries To Visit In Eastern Europe

Eastern Europe has long been unnoticed by the groups of tourists who flock to the continent each year. Recently this has changed and for good reason. The culture there is rich and there are a number of great things to do and see there. There are historical sites and beautiful places of nature that evoke strong emotion or leave you breathless. Whether you are new to Eastern Europe or making your second trip, there is no limit to the enjoyment you will find.

If you have decided on en eastern European trip, Bulgaria is a great place to start. It has been around for centuries and has maintained a rich culture despite this fact. It is steeped in culture and history that provides travelers a variety of things to do when visiting. There is an inexpensive public transportation system that can take you almost anywhere that you want to go. You are sure to enjoy the beautiful scenery and cultural heritage you experience there.

You might also consider visiting the Czech Republic. It is a young country, founded in 1993 but they manage to present their countries history in a great way. Prague is an area of the country that offers significant cultural heritage. For beer lovers there are many different breweries that are known for producing some of the finest beer in the world. There are a variety of different things for everyone in the Czech Republic, no matter what you are looking for.

Poland is a little different from the previous two. It is an area of Eastern Europe that features some of the world's most influential and beautiful architecture. There are many churches there that show off these brooding gothic designs, making them seem like ominous places of worship. The countries most noteworthy citizen was the famous astronomer Copernicus who was a mathematician and philosopher who greatly influenced thinking in his time. He can still be found in gingerbread form, a local treat.

Eastern Europe offers many different places to visit that are as nice as or better than those found in Western Europe. Their rich heritage has been preserved through time by a culture that has stood strong over the years. There is something there for everyone, including nature lovers, history buffs or people who want to experience different cultures. It is one of the best choices for your holiday. When planning your vacation be sure to consider Eastern Europe as a primary destination.
