Holidays - Make It Cheaper People

Last November, I and my wife made a spectacular vacation to north India which gave us unbound joy and happiness. From the experience of this trip, I am giving some tips to make your holidays cheaper and more enjoyable.

1. Early booking - Plan a holiday, then search on the internet for some good package-makers. If your group consists about 6-8 members, then only go for a flexi-tour package. If not go for a normal package. The package may contain about 30-40 members (A bus full), but it will be very nice to share the enjoyment of the trip with others. If you want independent travelling, then also book your tickets and rooms as early as possible.

2. Airline Booking - Since flight charges are radical and unpredictable, note these things. (1) If the scheduling time is a peak-time, fare will be higher.
(2) Business persons are travelling more on weekdays. So flights will be cheaper on weekend days and non-peak hours. Please check online for the differences of charges and take a decision.

3. Lodging - You will never need a 5 star hotel for a pleasure trip. You are staying only 8 to 12 hours at hotels on a day and 70% of that time for sleeping only. If you are away from your home city, try to find some nice restaurants where you will get some nice continental food, and just take some cheaper lodgings or ‘bed and breakfast' s for staying.

4. Tour Cost - Always compare your tour package with more than a couple of other packages and take a wise decision. You may get a good discount if you book earlier. Try bargaining with the travel executive.
