Little Known Places - Bakubung Coffee Bar, Koh Samui, Thailand

Well here's a very good thought for anyone who is questioning how to spend some time on Koh Samui. I just thought today I would spend some time at the small coffee bar and restaurant called Bakubung. Absolutely nothing really special in that you might say, until I tell you that it is among the best kept secrets on Koh Samui. It sits on the seashore, near to the Bop hut Fisherman's village. This really is a beautiful location to come and unwind and drink a coffee or two. Precisely what could be a superior method of sitting.

A beach front position with an outstanding landscape: Wonderful sand extends along the front, with magical sights of Koh Phangan after which cast your eyes in the distance towards the shimmering ocean after which towards the numerous speed boats and luxury yachts bobbing up and down in front of the shoreline along Fisherman Village beach frontage. What more could you ask of a view, simply idyllic.

Attractive Coffee lounge and Bar: You will be met when you arrive by the owner or equally pleasant staff whom is delighted that you should go get your seats and wait to enable them to produce your favorite coffee, shake or other cold drink. Take this with a piece of fresh chocolate cake for eighty Baht a slice, coffee at 75 Baht for a huge glass. One of the best tasting lattes on Koh Samui I am certain.

You've got a choice of sitting on the protected patio or indoors upon comfy black leather sofas and seats. My choice is generally to sit at one of the tables outdoors and stare out at the views. What more would you ask for, except they provide free WIFI which is why I can compose this informative article. Starbuck eat your heart out, this location wins every time.

The Atmosphere: Ensure you recognize that the tranquility is solely interrupted by relaxed music, of the extremely appealing kind. I'm constantly flattered when i go to Bakubung as it's always, pretty much by no means really busy. This is not a difficulty for its owners, because they ultimately have other plans and like most Thai individuals are happy to experience a laid-back business and make some friends. The lady which owns this business is most enchanting and welcoming.

And then I have to inform you of that if you'd prefer, there is a swinging hammock in the grounds, a large grassed area and magnificently located Sala with grassed roof structure. Plenty of breathing space here and it makes the perfect location for a enjoyable day. If you like to read, then it is a wonderful location.

The normal crowds: Don't expect to observe so many tourists here. Ok it is on the beach, but just far enough away a large number of people miss it. If you're starting at Fisherman's village, Bop hut then you really should walk along the seashore towards the Bangrak area and you should easily find it, since it takes a lengthy frontage. What's really good is that there are plenty of Thai's which come here with their good friends, not so many Xpats and a good combination of stylish people.

The neighborhood: Go to Koh Samui by Bangkok Airways, and take a short journey along the Northern coastline and you will then discover Bop hut, once a tiny sleepy fishing village retains much of its charm. With the concourse through the village today being lined each side by an array of dining places and upmarket bars, in addition to hideouts for local expats wishing to observe the latest sporting events. The Far end of the village is really the more traditional area, that still retains most of the original buildings in Thai Chinese tradition. Truly this area is today in the process of some alteration, with more luxury apartments being constructed on the sea front.

Fisherman's village, Bop hut is really one of the most enchanting destinations to come and visit. being probably the most elegant and well-preserved places in Koh Samui. Because of so many lodging options in hand, the tourists would definitely be spoilt for choices. The luxury beach hotels in Bo Phut enhance the pleasure of staying with all of their own exclusive attributes, thereby creating an unforgettable experience for the tourists.

You will find that to the western end of the village, you'll find a large number of deluxe resorts and hotels. They provide a multitude of amenities to the visitors which makes them really feel at home. They're mostly beach accommodations, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. There are many stylish upmarket homes, providing high quality holiday accommodation.

When you have the time to invest a couple of hours relaxing at Bakubung. I recommend this spot to all my buddies, and when I have customers (I sell real-estate on Koh Samui BTW) I usually find myself here; simply because I love to share this secret small place with them.

Fisherman's village however is a fantastic idea for a holiday break for single people or young families. Utilize it as your own base, and then you don't need to take a trip around the Island, but if you wish you will find dozens of attractions near by. Have a blast as soon as you have time here.
