Missed August's Ibiza Parties, Enjoy a Late Summer

There is no doubt that Ibiza sees its busiest time of year in August. This is when the island is packed to the rafters with sun worshippers, party goers and of course plenty of celebrities too. August is when a huge amount of live music takes place in Ibiza. Bands from the UK and the rest of the world come and play in bars, nightclubs and at parties held on the beach. Fatboy Slim, Dizzee Rascal, The Streets and Madness are just some of the big names that have played at this unique Ibiza festival during August.

Also in August the Ibiza Jazz Festival is held. This is held at two venues on the island and promotes jazz in all its forms from around the world. There are also religious festivals and Saints' days throughout the month of August in Ibiza. The 24th August is the date of one of the largest of the local Ibiza festivals. This is San Bartolome's Day and it is celebrated in the second biggest town on the island San Antonio. There are several hip hotels Ibiza can offer in this particular location.
