Missed August's Ibiza Parties, Enjoy a Late Summer
There is no doubt that Ibiza sees its busiest time of year in August. This is when the island is packed to the rafters with sun worshippers, party goers and of course plenty of celebrities too. August is when a huge amount of live music takes place in Ibiza. Bands from the UK and the rest of the world come and play in bars, nightclubs and at parties held on the beach. Also in August the Ibiza Jazz Festival is held. This is held at two venues on the island and promotes jazz in all its forms from around the world. There are also religious festivals and Saints' days throughout the month of August in Ibiza. The 24th August is the date of one of the largest of the local Ibiza festivals. This is San Bartolome's Day and it is celebrated in the second biggest town on the island San Antonio. There are several hip hotels Ibiza can offer in this particular location.
The climate during August on Ibiza cannot be faulted. Beautiful blue skies and seemingly endless sunshine give Ibiza a truly Mediterranean climate. Even during the winter months the sunshine remains. Many people choose Ibiza for a second home. With flights leaving daily from UK airports and a very short airport transfer on the island it is a great location for a holiday home. When visiting Ibiza you won't have time to be bored. There are sites to visit, watersports to take part in and swimming to be done.
