Quarrying and mining have been part of the long history of the area, but technology, medical, and maritime business sectors are increasing as well. That means that more people are living there and that there are more places for people to shop and explore simply because the number of people has grown and they need things to do. That makes it great for those on holiday in Cornwall as well, because they have more options than ever before. Between the shopping and the landscapes there is always something to do in both Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, so if you're taking a holiday or looking for work or a new business, you have some opportunities there.</p>
